Shipping & Delivery — Just Great Books
Get your favorite used books delivered fast and affordably across Canada and the United States. We offer free shipping on orders $45+ and reliable delivery timelines with trusted carriers (typically Canada Post in Canada and USPS in the U.S.). At times, we may ship with an equivalent carrier—delivery windows remain the same.
How Shipping Works
Estimated delivery = Processing time + Transit time
Processing time: Orders are processed and shipped Monday–Saturday, excluding Canadian and U.S. postal holidays.
Transit time: Counted in business days (Mon–Fri). Weekends and postal holidays are not included.
Canada Shipping (Canada Post or equivalent)
Canada Standard
Transit time: 6–12 business days
Cost: FREE on orders $45+; otherwise calculated at checkout

U.S. Shipping (USPS or equivalent)
U.S. Standard
Transit time: 7–11 business days
Cost: FREE on orders $45+; otherwise calculated at checkout

Free Shipping (Orders $45+)

Free Standard Shipping applies when your cart subtotal is $45+ (before tax).

If items are removed or cancelled and your subtotal drops below $45, free shipping may no longer apply.

We currently ship within Canada and the United States only (no international shipping outside Canada & the U.S.).
Shipping Holidays
Orders do not ship on weekends and may not ship on observed Canadian and U.S. postal holidays. Carriers also do not deliver on most holidays, which can affect delivery estimates.
United States (USPS observed holidays may include):
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
(Some services/regions may also observe additional USPS holiday closures.)
Canada (Canada Post observed holidays may include):
New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day (July 1), Labour Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept 30), Thanksgiving (2nd Monday in October), Remembrance Day (Nov 11), Christmas Day, Boxing Day (Dec 26)
